Seems that everybody received an email from a member of a Nigerian family at least once. It is a cry for help in getting a large sum of money out of the country. Scammers are promising large payments for small tasks. For example, they will ask you to cover the legal and other fees that must be paid to the people who can release the money.
Unfortunately you'll never see any of the promised money. Why? Because there isn’t any.
This SCAM isn't new. It was known in 1920s as '
The Spanish Prisoner'.
The TOP 10 Internet, e-mail scams was published not long ago. Here is list:
1) The Nigerian scam
2) Advanced fees paid for a guaranteed loan or credit card
3) Lottery scams
4) Phishing emails and phony web pages
5) Items for sale overpayment scam
6) Employment search overpayment scam
7) Disaster relief scams
8) Travel scams
9) “Make Money Fast” chain emails
10) "Turn Your Computer Into a Money-Making Machine!"
Finally I want to say - Be careful!
